Rebecca Lundy joined the ACT Ambulance Service in 1994 and graduated as an Intensive Care Paramedic 3 years later. In 2000, Rebecca took a leading role in improving the clinical and professional development of Intensive Care Paramedic Students through her work as an inaugural member of the operational training and development team. Rebecca has taken a major role in a number of key service delivery areas including the introduction of new training qualifications for Communications Centre staff, contributing to the development and assessment of a revised Vocational Education Training Framework. This has culminated in a revised structural framework within the Communications Centre targeted at enhancing services to the members of the Service and the community. Her ACT Ambulance Service has been recognised through her award of the Ambulance Service Medal in The Queen’s Birthday 2010 honours announcement.
