Membership

Any person can become a member of The Hungerford & Associated Families Society Inc, whether you have an interest as family, friend or for research.

Benefits of membership

  • Receive two newsletters and two journals sent each year – by email in PDF files for Basic or by post printed in colour for Print Plus
  • Access transcripts, copies of photos and other records by request (see online indexes for what is available)
  • Connect with other members through our events.

About membership

  • Includes any partner or dependent children living in your household
  • Only one person per membership can vote at our general meetings or nominate to become a Committee Member
  • Subscription covers the period 1 October to 30 September following year
  • Pro rata adjustments are not available for cancellation or commencement mid-year
  • Journals and newsletters are provided from earlier in the year if commencing mid-subscription period

Members are expected to abide by our Constitution and observe the Terms of Use for our website and materials. Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with these.

Payment

You can pay online with a credit or debit card, or a Paypal account.
We use the PayPal gateway but you don’t need a PayPal account. PayPal automatically displays tries to get new customers.

To avoid creating a PayPal account, toggle off Save information…..
Then Pay now as a guest appears and you can pay with your choice of card.

If you prefer not to pay online, please contact our membership manager.

Application process

  • Press one of the buttons below to select your plan and pay online.
  • We’ll then ask you for basic details and a contact email address.
  • Our membership manager will then process your application, and approve your online access to member areas, usually within 24 hours.  
  • An email will be sent to advise you that the process is complete.
